Comic-Con Catching Fire Official Trailer

*SPOILERS ALERT IN THIS POST*!!

The time has come to squeal, if you're a Hunger Games fan. The second book in the trilogy has it's official trailer straight from it's premiere at Comic-Con yesterday.

It has finally been uploaded to the social network YouTube and broadcast worldwide, something which I think fans can be very happy about as the trailer is possibly the best and most highly anticipated film of 2013 and looks like it might be even better than the first film.

As the biggest Hunger Games fan, of the books primarily, but as a big fan of the decent film adaptation of the first book The Hunger Games; I have been waiting patiently for something to whet the appetite a bit more, to hold me over until November when the film will be released.

What can we take from this official theatrical trailer. Well for starters it sets up the world for Katniss after winning the 74th annual Hunger Games.

There is a sense of a possible uprising, hope for the other districts after Katniss and Peeta's controversial win which showed the power of the people versus the power of the Capitol government and President Snow. He cannot win against Katniss who has more power with the people.

President Snow is keeping a watchful eye on Katniss and Peeta as a couple. He doesn't believe in it, so he wants her to prove it to him. He threatens her "would you like to be in a real war."

The 75th Annual Hunger Games is a Quarter Quell, where two are chosen from previous victors from past Hunger Games, which include Haymitch Peeta, and of course Katniss as the only female victor from Disctrict 12.

Though we have seen what a Hunger Games looks like, the Quarter Quell is something else entirely.

I won't give anything away, but the book paints a very clear picture of the searing heat, the kind of extreme that the games takes place in, this time around.

Aside from the look of the new game arena, the trailer boasts some particular newbies in the form of a new cast. The already talented cast comes equipped this time with Academy Award winner Philip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch Heavensbee, Jena Malone as Johanna Mason, Sam Claflin as Finnick Odair and Jeffrey Wright as Beetee.

There is no hand held cameras this time around, the finance for this once indie type film has gone to blockbuster bold, with what looks like infinitely better special effects and the costumes are the same insane creations.

One of the most outstanding from the trailer is Katniss' interview dress which on first impressions just looks like a basic extravagant gown, but Cinna's secret design creates the masterpiece that will leave an everlasting impression on the Capitol and President Snow.

Katniss is a Mockingjay. Her dress has transformed through fire into a black bird with an incredible wing design.

The last and infinitely the most emotional scene in the trailer doesn't give anything away. But some readers may not want to read this last snippet which has SPOILER ALERT all over it.

Cinna places the Mockingjay pin on Katniss' arm just before she is placed into the arena. Cinna is taken from Katniss minutes before she will go up in the pod into the arena and killed in front of her eyes, whilst she has no control over fighting back.

Thus leading to an emotional emergence into the arena, in shock and thrown into the world of a giant lake.

Now this is enough to be pondering over the next couple of months. But just in case you want to digress anymore or divulge anymore opinions on the new trailer, then by all means leave a comment.

Let's post the trailer one more time just to end this post on a high.
